Jean-Francois Brunot
Since his youth in his native Madagascar Jean-Francois Brunot aka Jon has been fascinated by automobiles, motorsports, and by a visceral need for speed that has been a defining factor throughout his life. From riding his first Motocross bike at 6, to learning to drive an automobile at 8, and Karting at 12. This lifelong passion for speed and competition led him to developing his driving skills and race-craft by successfully competing in Karting championships and off-road Rally racing throughout Africa and Europe.
Following University returning to amateur motorsports he successfully proved himself scoring multiple victories and dozens of podiums, Jon climbed the motorsports ladder in junior series in SCCA, NASA, Mazda MX5 Cup, European VW FUN CUP, Porsche Club Racing, Porsche Endurance Trophy Benelux, and in the process finding his true calling in sports car endurance racing. These successes ultimately opened the door to professional racing opportunities culminating in over a decade long professional racing career in multiple world-class international racing series IMSA, 24H SERIES, Nurburgring Endurance Series, 24H of Nurburgring, SRO World Challenge GT4 America and GT4 European Series, 24H of Spa, Porsche SuperCup, on circuits in Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. Throughout his stellar professional racing career he has continued his successful record of wins and podiums competing against the very best drivers in the world.
In addition to his driving talents and raw speed Jon was able to leverage his other talents outside the car. He proved to be a talented Brand Ambassador and spokesperson for his teams, sponsors, and partners. His positive personality, communications skills and business acumen proved to be highly valuable in assisting the structuring of business deals with partners, sponsors and manufacturers to support the teams he has driven for.
His years of racing experience in different vehicles on different tracks and in changing conditions have generated a wealth of knowledge which Jon now shares with his teammates and co-drivers in the Pro-Am teaming with Gentlemen drivers and up and coming young drivers. In addition to offering his Private Coaching services to track driving and racing enthusiasts Jon also works for premier Sport Driving and Racing Schools.
